🌿 Medicinal plant • 🏺 Delivered in decorative pot • ☀️ Bright light • 💧 Low watering • 💚 Soothing properties

The Aloe Vera is an iconic medicinal succulent plant, known for its fleshy leaves filled with soothing gel with multiple benefits. Its long, thick, toothed green leaves form an elegant and architectural rosette. This ancient plant has been used for millennia for its healing, moisturizing, and soothing properties, especially for burns and skin irritations.

Native to the Arabian Peninsula, Aloe Vera is an ultra-easy-care succulent that perfectly tolerates drought and missed waterings. Delivered in an elegant jade ceramic decorative pot, it is ready to gift or place directly in your home. With its generous height of 45 cm and graphic leaves, it becomes a useful and decorative centerpiece of your urban jungle, perfect for dressing a sunny windowsill, desk, or shelf with style and practicality.

Exposure & placement

The Aloe Vera loves bright light and can tolerate moderate direct sun. The more light it receives, the thicker and more gel-filled its leaves will be.

  • Exposure: bright light to moderate direct sun.
  • Ideal: sunny windowsill, sheltered balcony, bright office, well-lit shelf.
  • Temperature: 15 to 25 °C, tolerates variations well.
  • Substrate: very well drained (potting soil for cacti and succulents + sand or perlite).

Verdeia tip: Aloe Vera perfectly tolerates full sun once gradually acclimated. Place it in the brightest spot in your home. Delivered in its decorative pot, ready to use.

Watering & care

  • Watering: low; let the substrate dry completely between waterings (every 2-3 weeks).
  • Drainage: the decorative pot is designed for optimal drainage.
  • Humidity: tolerates dry air, no need for misting.
  • Fertilizer: every 8 weeks in spring-summer, with diluted liquid fertilizer for cacti.
  • Winter rest: greatly reduce watering in autumn-winter (maximum once a month).

Aloe Vera prefers to be underwatered rather than overwatered. Empty excess water from the saucer 15 minutes after watering to avoid root rot.

Medicinal properties & uses

Aloe Vera is famous for its transparent gel contained in its leaves, used since Antiquity for its therapeutic and cosmetic virtues.

  • Aloe Vera gel: transparent and viscous substance contained in the leaves, rich in vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.
  • Soothing properties: relieves burns (sun, kitchen), sunburns, and skin irritations.
  • Moisturizing properties: deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin, ideal for dry skin.
  • Healing properties: promotes cell regeneration and healing of minor wounds.
  • Usage: cut a leaf at the base, extract the transparent gel, and apply directly to the skin.

Verdeia tip: always keep an Aloe Vera in your kitchen to immediately soothe minor burns! The fresh gel is very effective.

Decor ideas & plant combinations

With its graphic fleshy leaves and jade decorative pot, the Aloe Vera adds a touch of natural elegance and practicality to your urban jungle. It is a plant as useful as it is decorative.

  • Pair with: other succulents (Echeveria, Sedum, Crassula), cacti, Sansevieria, or Kalanchoe to create a collection of fleshy plants.
  • Ambiance: perfect for a sunny windowsill, kitchen, office, or balcony.
  • Style: contemporary, bohemian, minimalist, or Mediterranean.

Place it in an easily accessible spot so you can use its gel when needed. Ready to gift or install directly!

Verdeia Tips

  • Maintain constant bright light — the more light it receives, the thicker and more gel-filled its leaves will be.
  • Avoid excess water that causes root rot — better to underwater than overwater.
  • Delivered in its decorative pot, ready to use, no repotting needed for at least 1 year.
  • To use the gel: cut an outer leaf at the base, extract the clear gel and apply to the skin.
  • Aloe Vera produces offsets (babies) at its base — you can separate them to multiply your plant.
  • Perfectly tolerates missed waterings — ideal plant for beginners or busy people.

How are my plants prepared before shipping?

All our plants are carefully selected from our European partner producers.

Before shipping, they are watered, cleaned, and protected by breathable and secure packaging.

Each package is designed to ensure that your plant arrives in perfect health and without stress related to transport.

Will the plant look exactly like the photo?

The photos shown are true to the variety and the announced size (pot diameter and approximate height).

Each plant being unique, slight differences in shape, foliage, or shade may exist — that is what makes them so charming!

What are the delivery times and conditions?

Shipping is done within 48 business hours, with tracked delivery throughout Europe.

Plants are shipped from Monday to Wednesday to prevent them from being stuck over the weekend.

You receive a tracking link as soon as the package is dispatched.

What to do upon receiving my plant?

Open your package upon receipt, carefully remove the plant from its packaging and let it acclimate for 24 hours in its new environment before watering it.

If it has slightly suffered from transport, it will quickly regain its shape after one or two days in the light.

Can I put this plant outside?

It depends on the species. Most indoor plants prefer a bright place without direct sunlight, while outdoor plants like more direct light.

Refer to the exposure advice in the product description to know if it is suitable for a balcony, a terrace, or indoors.

What to do if my plant arrives damaged?

If your plant appears to have suffered during transport, contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the problem.

Our team will take the time to assess the situation and find the best solution: replacement, partial refund, or recovery advice.

Your satisfaction and the health of your plant remain our priority 🌿.

Can I return a plant?

Since plants are living beings, we do not accept standard returns.

However, we guarantee good health upon delivery: if the plant arrives damaged, it will be replaced free of charge.

For any other case (order error, cache-pot, accessory), returns are possible within 14 days.
